Paris Hilton's Pets

Paris Hilton has a new pet - a ferret. She's been seen walking the fashion runways with the little guy crawling on her. Why do we care? I guess my thoughts are always about who is caring for these animals? Does Paris acutally pick up poop? Clean ferret litter?

She claims in a UK interview:
" have a Rottweiler called Tyson, Tinkerbell's a Chihuahua, Bambi's another Chihuahua.
I also have a ferret called Rascal... I only take care of the two Chihuahua's because they live with me. The others are taken care of by a housekeeper."

She also supposedly has a pet goat and monkey in her LA home - reports say that last summer, Hilton landed herself in big trouble after trying to take a host of animals on a plane with her. Paris had been gambling in Las Vegas and, after a large win, decided she would use the money to buy some new pets. She then attempted to board a flight to Los Angeles with a goat, three ferrets and a monkey as part of her hand luggage...

Flight attendants refused to let Paris and her menagerie on board the flight and she had to take the pets home to Los Angeles in a six-hour limo drive, reports The Sun.

I think the Hilton heiress can afford new pets without having to win big in Vegas.

Paris Hilton has also recently been reported to have fallen in love with a baby kangaroo - and asked for it to be boxed up and shipped back home. The eccentric heiress, who found the creature while filming in Australia's Queensland, thought buying the "roo" would impress her friends - until she was told they grow up to be violent pets. The blonde's younger sister, Nicky, revealed: "She wanted to buy one, but then they told us that kangaroos get as tall as humans and start punching you in the gut." .

Hmmm...the whole "buying" pets thing notwithstanding, whatever happened to the steer she ended up with during "The Simple Life?" What was his name...Walter? She and Nicole fell in love with him on a cattle ranch they were (not) working on, and the pair appeared very happy to see the bovine when the crew brought him to LA. Their joy was apparently not mutual -- Walter promptly attempted to gore Paris in her skinny little gut as soon as she greeted him!

I hate to see this "flavor of the month" attitude with celebs and their pets. Britney Spears recently got a chihuahua that she carried everywhere. They're not fashion statements! As a pet lover it makes me angry, too.

I have half a mind to start carrying my 13-year-old Labrador Retriever around and call him a fashion statement. I think I could get him to sit quiety on my shoulder. He matches most of my wardrobe anyway. What? Not a good idea?

Paris hilton goes through her pets like she goes through men and clothes...she has to have a new one every week to keep herself satisfied (daily for clothes). Poor Animals get pawned off onto others when she is through with them being her status symbol. Doesnt she have to have sme sort of licence to have so many animals?

I happen to idol Paris Hilton and disagree with what most of you guys are saying. She spoils all of her pets and there not all hers, some of them belong to her parents, sister, and her aunts. I do know for a fact she has 6 dogs and 2 ferrets but they travel everywhere with her. Her Kinkajo (monkey-like) pet was well taken care of and she even had a cage built in the middle of her kitchen the only reason that she had to get rid of her was the is a law in CA about primates. I am to a pet LOVER and would do anything for my Dogs. So please get the whole story before you go judging her!!!

i am very discusted with paris and how many petz paris has i just want to tell you that every pet you buy from a pet shop another animal has to be put to sleep in an animal shelter so stop buying from pet shops and rescue animals instead!!!!!!

Even though some of you love her! did you no that she was buying pets from "BEL AIRE PET STORE" that have been bred from cruel factories! She never reported 4 of her dogs sick after she bought them from that sick place and she still loves it! If she is such an animal lover (which she is clearly not) then why does she like this breeding factory of abuse and swapped tinkerbell after she was kidnapped pretending it was the original! SICK

Animals are not objects to be exploited. Ferrets are not ideal pets for busy people, I share my house with three, they need several hours of attention, exercise and care daily. They need to be carefully watched all the time, they need to be well socialised.
If you take them out with you, they should be on a harness at all times for safety reasons, and they need access to food (high meat based protien diet) and water AT ALL TIMES, even when you are out, as they need to constantly snack and are easily dehydrated.
I doubt she is doing everything she should to care for the animal, which is sad.
I really hope it bites her face off, they are, after all, nippy creatures if not handled correctly.

i actually idolise paris. i do think she needs to let them walk some more though but they get everything they could need and it is so obvious she is an animal lover why would she need to pretend something like that? its obvious she loves her pets.
you dont know her you just know what you hear from the press. if ya all dont know how much press exagerate for money then you have issues
